The Planar inspection machines are designed to automatically measure the dimensional accuracy of flat opaque materials such as sheet metal, paper, wood, polymers, cloth, cork etc.
The measurements obtained by the Planar machine can be used to compare the dimensional accuracy of the component with a drawing (inspection) or the measurements can also be used to create a drawing (reverse engineering).
A Line Laser can then be used to measure the height of forms, folds, fold angles, and many other simple 3D shapes.
InspecVision are world leaders in automation. Parts can be inspected with up to 30,000,000 measurements, applying user defined inspection reports and tolerances, simply by placing the part on the table and double clicking the DXF/DWG file.
InspecVision offers a wide range of Planar systems to suit each customers size and accuracy needs. Systems range from more than 2m2 to 0.17m2 and from +/-0.012mm to +/-0.1mm accuracy, please click here for our Planar Range.
